For brands, they are a natural add-on that raises basket size without requiring a new customer.
Styles We Manufacture
Classic swim shorts with a built-in brief and elastic waist. High-waist shorts with a wide contour band for a smoothing effect. Board short cuts with a flat front and side or fly closure for the surf-adjacent market. Running-style splits with a curved hem for sport collections. Longline bike-short lengths that cross over into activewear. Inseams run from 2 inches through 7 inches, and hem finishes include straight, curved, and side-split.
Fabric Options
Recycled polyester is the default — quick drying, colorfast, and GRS certified. Polyester spandex 85/15 adds stretch for closer-fitting silhouettes. For board short constructions we run a four-way stretch woven that behaves like a technical short rather than a knit. Inner briefs are cut from soft power mesh or a lightweight knit lining. All shells are chlorine and UV resistant.
Construction & Craftsmanship Details
The built-in brief is attached at the waistband only, not through the leg, so it moves independently and dries fast. Seams are flatlock throughout to prevent chafing during activity. Leg openings receive double-needle hems that hold their shape through repeated wash cycles. Waistbands are constructed with encased elastic and an internal drawcord with metal or plastic tipping. Pockets, when specified, use mesh bags with drainage eyelets. Side splits are bar-tacked at the top of the opening.
Customization & Branding
Sublimation printing covers the full shell including waistband and pocket bags if desired. Color blocking across panels is straightforward and adds visible design value at low cost. Branding options include heat-transfer logos, silicone patches, embroidered marks at the hem or waistband, and custom drawcord tipping with your logo. Woven labels sit at the center back waist or inside the brief.
Sizing & Fit Development
Grading runs XS-3XL. The critical dimensions are rise and inseam — a short that fits at the waist but sits wrong at the rise will be returned. We recommend approving fit on your core size with the inner brief attached, since the brief affects how the shell sits. Custom size charts from your own fit model are welcome.
Packaging & Shipping
Shorts are folded and packed in poly bags with hangtags attached at the waistband. Mixed size ratios per carton are supported. Full export documentation is provided, with air express, air freight, sea, and rail options depending on volume and urgency.
